La Fontelina is an attractive resort and one of the most exclusive on the island. Situated near Marina Piccola, it has shallow reefs and a pebbly beach (quite a common feature in Capri as most beaches are perched on rock or have small pebbles). There is a restaurant with various kinds of cuisine and a shuttle service leaving from Marina Piccola.

Lido del Faro is found ten minutes from Anacapri. Facilties include a seawater swimming pool, bathing huts, Solarium and private access to sea, an American bar and its restaurant, which has a terrace overlooking the sea, specialising in seafood and typical cuisine.

Near Gradelle, one of the 12 villa’s found on the island, and the Blue Grotto, is Bagni Nettuno. It has a panoramic terrace, along with two swimming pools, beach cabins, changing rooms and steps leading down to sea. From here, you can look out and see Ischia and Procida, Mont Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples.

Da Gioia is a family run establishment beside Marina Piccola. It has a solarium on the seafront as well as a seafood restaurant, a small pebbled beach, sun-beds, umbrellas and showers.

Located on the north coast, Bagni Tiberio is on the site of the Palazzo a Mare, a summer villa of the Emperor Augustus. The establishment is right on the beach and is ideal for children. Visitors can stay on the wooden platforms above the beach or stay directly on the waters edge. It can be reached by bus or by boat from Marina Grande.

If lying on the beach and soaking up sun seems a bit boring, there are many watersport and yachting facilities as well as boat excursions. Indeed, boat excursions are an excellent way to see the many caves and rugged cliffs lining the coast.
